PAUL BUMBLAUSKAS is a business advisor, facilitator and international speaker and is highly regarded
by business owners and executives, especially in building material and home décor-related industries. Paul has over 25 years of experience in retail, wholesale and light manufacturing and has amassed unique
sets of skills ranging from sales, staffing and store presentation to accounting, human resources, information technology,
operations and administration. Paul is currently President of PFC Services, Inc.,
a consulting and facilitating firm with a dominant client base in retail and distribution.
PFC is known for high-impact recommendations that can be immediately implemented.
He also serves as President of Retailers Education Program, Inc., an organization that provides customized leading
edge private label training and facilitating programs.
Previously, Paul was initially Senior and later Executive
Vice President of Operations for Flooring America, Inc. and the Maxim Group, Inc. Paul
served as District Manager for Shaw Industries, Inc. Carpetland division and prior to that as Vice President of Carpetland
USA, Inc. He was responsible for the day-to-day sales and profitability of 21
Carpetland stores.
Prior to his return to Carpetland, Paul was Partner and co-founder
of SB Associates, Certified Public Accountants and Consultants. In addition,
he served as Chief Financial Officer of Carpetland and as Corporate Controller and Principal Accounting Officer of Edward
Hines Lumber Company, a $300 million public company. He began his accounting
career in 1981 as an auditor at Arthur Andersen & Co. and, prior to that, held a variety of retail sales and management
positions, from commission sales to department management to inventory control.
Paul has a Bachelors of Science Degree in Accounting, is a
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and holds a Certificate in Management Accounting (CMA) and is a member of the American Institute
of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA) and the Georgia Society of CPAs. He earned the Distinguished Graduate award from the University
of Illinois in 1987, the youngest recipient of that highly coveted award.
He has teaching experience with a number of colleges and professional
organizations, including the MBA program at the University of
Illinois. In addition, Paul
has created over 75 programs targeted toward business owners, managers, sales associates and individuals seeking enhanced
performance.
Paul is a frequent speaker for trade organizations, CPA Societies
and roundtable groups.
